Summer with a camera

So summer is finally approaching and I can't wait to get these finals out of my way. So I will be more active than normal.

Now onto business: I am hoping to get some money this summer by working around my house, mowing the lawn etc. I am raising money for a new digital camera I can buy. Now I don't know how much money I will have but somewhere between 300-400 maybe. So any suggestions of camera I should buy?
